Toleranca Marketing was the technical organiser of the online EAMDA International Conference on Neuromuscular Disorders 2021, a two-day event that was held on Friday, October 15th, and Saturday, October 16th, 2021. Attendees were able to take part in the online conference via the Zoom platform.

THE CHALLENGES 

As with every online event, the greatest challenge of the EAMDA International Conference on Neuromuscular Disorders 2021 was audience engagement.

THE SOLUTION

Together with the organisers, The European Alliance of Neuromuscular Disorders Associations, we included as much interaction into the programme as possible. Each keynote lecture was followed by Q&A session, moderated by two online moderators from Poland. A special 1-hour session was dedicated solely to discussion between the participants.

RESULTS

The first part of the online event was attended by over 70 people with NMD, their families, and caregivers. The second part included a satellite symposium and was attended by 25 medical doctors, pharmaceutical industry experts and NMD experts.
