Ljubljana was chosen as the host for this annual event which attracts participants from across Europe. The one-day professional part of the international conference, which was attended by 570 guests from 12 countries, took place on 31 May 2012 at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. The key challenge was how to organise an unforgettable experience for participants, after the conclusion of the professional part of the event, which would ensure they will remember Ljubljana and Slovenia.

We began with the Slovenian fairytale by Ela Peroci ‘My umbrella is like a balloon’, in which a little girl, Jelka, soars above Ljubljana. The participants (mainly women) were divided into groups, provided with instructions which led them to Ljubljana restaurants where the first part of their dinner was served. The final highlight was an evening of surprise, with dessert, accompanied by street theatre, world music, and balloons with wishes sent into the sky.
